Further, the Board authorized the County Manager to <br />execute the Consent Agreement on behalf of Cabarrus County. <br /> <br />(F-9) Consent Agreement for Stallings Farm Phase V Subdivision <br /> <br /> Vernon Burris is developing Phase V of Stallings Farm Subdivision <br />consisting of 35 lots on approximately 22.8 acres in Township 1 on Stallings <br />Road. The developer has agreed to donate $1,008.00 per lot to advance the <br />adequacy of public schools. The Harrisburg Planning and Zoning Board <br />approved the subdivision on June 21st, subject to the developer entering into <br />a Consent Agreement with Cabarrus County to meet the Adequate Public <br />Facilities Ordinance requirements. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carpenter, seconded by Acting Chairman <br />Carruth and unanimously carried, the Board approved the Consent Agreement <br />between Cabarrus County and Vernon Burris for Phase V of the Stallings Farm <br />Subdivision, including the payment of $1,008.00 per lot to advance school <br />adequacy with payment to be made at the issuance of building permitting. <br />Further, the Board authorized the County Manager to execute the Consent <br />Agreement on behalf of Cabarrus County. <br /> <br />(F-10) Approval of Criminal Justice Partnership Program Grant Award <br />Contract <br /> <br /> At its February 2004 meeting, the Board authorized the submission of a <br />grant application to the N. C. Department of Correction for continued <br />Criminal Justice Partnership Program (CJPP) funding in the amount of <br />$115,231.00. The State has approved the grant application and will provide <br />the funding for FY 2005. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carpenter, seconded by Acting Chairman <br />Carruth and unanimously carried, the Board approved the FY 2005 Grant Award <br />Contract for the CJPP funding and authorized the County Manager to execute <br />the contract, subject to review and changes by the County Attorney. Further, <br />the Board authorized the following alternate fiscal/budgetary signatory <br />designees to submit reimbursement requests for CJPP funding: Pam Dubois, <br />Deputy County Manager/Finance Director; Susan Fearrington, Assistant Finance <br />Director; and Shelley Farris, Accounting Operations Supervisor. <br /> <br />(F-12) Approval of Logan Systems Contract for the Register of Deeds Office <br /> <br /> The Logan Systems renewal contract provides for the Indexing, Imaging, <br />Internet and Intranet Land Records and Receipting System for the Register of <br />Deeds Office. The contract amount is $230,310.00. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carpenter, seconded by Acting Chairman <br />Carruth and unanimously carried, the Board approved the Logan Systems <br />contract for the Register of Deeds Office in the amount of $230,310.00 and <br />authorized the County Manager to execute the contract subject to review and <br />changes by the County Attorney. <br /> <br />(F-13) A~roval of Good Health Services Contract for In-Home Aide Staff for <br /> <br />the Department of Social Services <br /> <br /> Good Health Services provides in-home aide staff for the Community <br />Alternative Program, Personal Care Services, Home and Community Care Block <br />Grant programs and contract Registered Nurse. The renewal contract amount is <br />$2,376,491.00. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carpenter, seconded by Acting Chairman <br />Carruth and unanimously carried, the Board approved the $2,376,491.00 renewal <br />contract between the Department of Social Services and Good Health Services, <br />Inc., and authorized the Chairman to execute the contract subject to review <br />and changes by the County Attorney. <br /> <br />(F-14) A~roval of the N. C. Parks and Recreation Trust Fund Grant <br /> <br />Agreement for Pharr Mill Road Park and Related Budget Amendment <br /> <br /> The State of North Carolina awarded a $250,000.00 grant to Cabarrus <br />County to construct Phase I of the Pharr Mill Road Park. The County's <br />$250,000.00 local match was reserved from funds in the Capital Reserve Fund <br />for FY 2004. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Carpenter, seconded by Acting Chairman <br />Carruth and unanimously carried, the Board approved the North Carolina Parks <br />and Recreation Trust Fund Grant Agreement in the amount of $250,000.00 for <br /> <br /> <br />
