The <br />Student Election Assistance Grant of $5,875 was received and deposited on <br />October 13, 2004 and used to pay the salaries of student election assistants <br />for the November 2004 general election. The county collects sales tax and remits a portion to the fire <br />districts on a monthly basis. The sales tax collected for 06.30.2004 was <br />received on August 15th. The receipts of revenues were recorded in FY 2004; <br />however, the disbursements of these taxes were not made until FY 2005. The <br />revenue and expenditure accounts should match at the end of the year.
