February 17, 2003 Page 52 <br /> <br />compliance with any other requirements set forth in the citation. <br />Notwithstanding any other term or condition herein, failure of such person to <br />render payment of the full amount of the Ordinance fine within thirty days of <br />the issuance of the Ordinance citation, may render such person subject to <br />collection proceedings and/or punishment for a civil offense or misdemeanor, <br />as set forth herein and in the North Carolina General Statutes. Ordinance <br />violation fines and penalties may be revised from time to time by the Board <br />of Commissioners and shall be deemed incorporated herein as they may be <br />amended from time to time. <br /> <br />Section 50-14. ordinance Violations and Fines. <br /> <br /> 1. Parking and speeding/reckless driving violations with corresponding <br />Ordinance fines are listed on the attached Schedule 1, which is incorporated <br />as if more fully set forth herein. The Board of Commissioners may amend <br />Schedule 1 from time to time. <br /> 2. Violations of Section 50-5 of this Ordinance, subsections 2, 3, and <br />4 are also punishable by the appropriate penalties and/or laws governing <br />inland waters as set forth by the State Wildlife Resources Commission <br />("Wildlife Commission"). Any and all enforcement officers of the Wildlife <br />Commission have full authority to enforce such regulations. <br /> 3. Violations of Ordinance sections may also constitute a civil <br />offense and/or a misdemeanor pursuant to the applicable North Carolina <br />General Statutes and may be punishable by additional fines or sanctions, <br />including imprisonment not exceeding 30 days. <br /> <br />Section 50-15. Other Relief Available. <br /> <br /> In addition to remedies and sanctions set forth in this Ordinance, the <br />Ordinance may be enforced by any other appropriate remedies and sanctions <br />authorized by the North Carolina General Statutes. All enforcement remedies <br />and sanctions are cumulative. <br /> <br />Section 50-16. Severability. <br /> <br /> If any provision of this Ordinance or its application to any person or <br />circumstances is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other <br />provisions or applications of the Ordinance, which can be given effect <br />without the invalid provision or application. <br /> <br />Section 50-17. Effective Date. <br /> <br /> This ordinance supercedes and amends in its entirety Chapter 50-1 <br />through 50-18 of the Code of Ordinances, Cabarrus County, North Carolina, <br />previously adopted on or about January 27, 2003. <br /> <br />Section 50-18.
