Freeman, Chairman Board of Commissioners (E-3) Right-of-Way and Easement Agreements - Harris Road Middle School and Cox Mill Elementar~ The City of Concord has requested right-of-way and easements for the public portion of the water and sewer utility lines at Harris Road Middle School and Cox Mill Elementary School. UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Vice Chairman Suggs and unanimously carried, the Board approved the Right-of-way and Easement Agreements for Harris Road Middle School and Cox Mill Elementary School as requested by the City of Concord and authorized the Chairman to execute the agreements on behalf of Cabarrus County. (E-4) Budget Amendment - Contribution to the Capital Projects (Parks) Fund The Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners appropriated $155,250.00 in the General Fund for a Contribution to the Capital Projects Fund in the FY 2004 Budget for the construction of the Harrisburg School/Park Restroom Building. The budget amendment transfers the money from the General Fund to the Capital Projects Fund. UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Vice Chairman Suggs and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following budget amendment. BUDGET REVISION/AMENDMENT REQUEST DEPARTMENT O~ Finance AMOUNT: $155,250.00 TYPE OF ADJUSTMENT: Supplemental Request PURPOSE OF REQUEST: To allocate FY 2004 contribution to the Capital Improvements Projects Fund (Parks) from the General Fund for the Harrisburg School/Park Restroom building. North Carolina Substance Control Tax mandates the payment of excise tax on unauthorized substances. Funds are dedicated for the Sheriff's department purposes only; therefore, unexpended funds at June 30tn are carried forward to the new fiscal year.
