Cabarrus County has notified Mid-State <br />Transport, Inc. principals that effective December 7, 2003, all contracts held <br />with Cabarrus County including but not limited to the CCTS human service <br />transportation and non-emergency medical transportation franchise will be <br />terminated. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner Carpenter <br />and unanimously carried, the Board authorized the County Manager to begin an <br />analysis of performing all functions of the CCTS system as a County entity, <br />including financial and logistical components necessary to complete this task. <br /> <br /> <br />
