95 <br /> <br />Section 4. The following amounts are appropriated for the project: <br />1. Housing Rehabilitation $360,000 (CDBG funds) <br />2. Administration $ 40,000 (CDBG funds) <br /> <br />Section 5. The Finance Officer is hereby directed to maintain within the <br />Grant Project Fund sufficient detailed accounting records to provide the <br />accounting to the grantor agency required by the grant agreement(s) and the <br />federal and state regulations. <br /> <br />Section 6. Requests for funds should be made to the grantor agency in an <br />orderly and timely manner as funds are obligated and expenses incurred. <br /> <br />Section 7. The Finance Officer is directed to report monthly in the <br />financial reports the status of each project element in Section 4 and on the <br />total revenues received or claimed. <br /> <br />Section 8. The Budget Officer is directed to include a detailed analysis of <br />past and future costs and revenues on this grant project in every budget <br />submission made to this Board. <br /> <br />Section 9. Division of Archives and Histor~ <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Fennel, seconded by Commissioner Privette with <br />Chairman Fennel, Vice Chairman Carruth and Commissioners Privette and Suggs <br />voting for, the Board adopted the use of the "County Management Records <br />Retention and Disposition Schedule" as issued by the Government Records <br />Branch of the Division of Archives and History, North Carolina Department of <br />Cultural Resources, and authorized the Chairman and County Manager to execute <br />the following "Approval Sheet" on behalf of Cabarrus County. <br /> <br />COUNTY MANAGEMENT RECORDS RETENTION <br />AND DISPOSITION SCHEDULE <br /> <br />The records retention and disposition schedule and retention <br />periods governing the records series listed herein are hereby <br />approved. In accordance with the provisions of Chapters 121 and <br />132 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, it is agreed that <br />the records do not and will not have further use or value for <br />official business, research, or reference purposes after the <br />respective retention periods specified herein and are authorized <br />to be destroyed or otherwise disposed of by. the agency or <br />official having custody of them without further reference to or <br />approval of either party to this agreement. It is further agreed <br />that these records may not be destroyed prior to the time periods <br />stated; however, for sufficient reason they may be retained for <br />longer periods. This schedule is to remain in effect from the <br />date of approval until it is reviewed and updated. <br /> <br /> <br />
