Board of Adjustment and Planning Board functions shall be provided <br />through the Midland Planning & Zoning Commission with staff support and training <br />to be provided by County staff. This scope of services shall not include <br />annexation activity except as it relates to the administrative rezoning of <br />annexed properties. An update to the Midland Area Plan is not included in the <br />scope of this contract as it is not included in the Planning Services work <br />schedule for the contract term. <br /> <br />The Town of Midland shall supply a Clerk for the Midland Planning & Zoning <br />Commission. The Clerk shall be responsible for compiling meeting agendas, mailing <br />of all material to Planning & Zoning Commission members, minutes of all meetings, <br />and record keeping. <br /> <br />Contract Documents: The Contract Documents consist of this signed Contract form <br />and any Exhibits incorporated herein. <br /> <br />Compensation and Method of Payment: For satisfactorily providing all services <br />described and required in the Contract Documents, Cabarrus County shall receive <br />no direct payment from the Town of Midland but shall retain all planning and <br />zoning permit and review fees up to a total of $1,500.00. Any additional fees <br />above and beyond this sum will be divided equally between Cabarrus County and the <br />Town of Midland. <br /> <br />In witness whereof the parties have caused this Contract to be duly executed, <br />intending to be bound thereby. <br /> <br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />Authorized <br />Signature: /s/ Arne L.
