385 <br /> <br />the Schools may request additional funding from the county as needed, subject <br />to the approval the Board of County Commissioners and the Board of Education. <br /> 5. Support. The County will provide the schools with maintenance <br />setup support from the Cabarrus County Property Maintenance Department, <br />through support and provision of tents, stages, snowfences, lining off, and <br />other spring games preparations, consistent with the past maintenance of the <br />program. <br /> 6. Transportation. The County will make available Cabarrus County <br />Transportation vans for Special Olympics activities and programs. <br /> <br /> SCHOOLS RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> 1. Quality. The Schools will continue the Program in a manner <br />meeting or exceeding the quality of the past administration of the Program by <br />the County. <br /> 2. Finances. The Schools will assume all financial responsibilities <br />for the Program, subject to the limitations enumerated in Item 4 of the <br />COUNTY OBLIGATIONS section above, and supply the County with a current <br />financial statement of the Program upon request. The Schools Special <br />Olympics coordinator shall assume financial responsibilities relating to the <br />North Carolina Special Olympics State Pool Banking Account. <br /> 3. General Responsibilities. The Schools will be responsible for <br />the overall organization of the Program, as well as for any liabilities <br />attendant to the Program and implementation of the Program during the entire <br />term of this agreement. <br /> 4. Cooperation. The parties will maintain an open line of <br />communication regarding the Program and agree that any complications which <br />arise will be addressed in writing to the other party's representative at the <br />address provided herein. <br /> <br /> MISCELLANEOUS <br /> 1. Termination Without Cause. Either party may terminate this <br />Agreement without cause upon six months prior written notice to the other <br />party. <br /> 2. Annual Proqram Review. The parties agree to review this <br />Agreement in writing by the tenth day of June each calendar year and <br />cooperate in making any necessary adjustments. <br /> 3. Amendment.
