Funds deposited <br />9/12/00. <br /> <br /> Present Approved <br />Account No. Budget <br />00194210-9698 8,000.00 <br /> Soil & Water District Activities <br />00164210-6803 0.00 <br /> Miscellaneous Revenue <br /> <br />Increase Decrease <br /> <br />453.66 <br /> <br />Revised <br />Budget <br />8,453.66 <br /> <br />453.66 453.66 <br /> <br />Resolutions Approving the Addition of Odell School Road, Akins Drive (a <br />portion of), Northchase Drive, Verde View Court, Madres Court, Tarton Court <br /> <br />and Gall Lane to the State Road System <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Fennel, seconded by Commissioner Privette and <br />unanimously carried, the Board by resolution approved the addition of the <br />following roads to the State Secondary Road Maintenance System: Odell School <br />Road, Akins Drive (a portion of), Northchase Drive, Verde View Court, Madres <br />Court, Tarton Court and Gall Lane. <br /> <br />Resolution Authorizing Conveyance of Surplus 1993 Ambulance to the Midland <br />Volunteer Fire Department <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Fennel, seconded by Commissioner Privette and <br />unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following Resolution. <br /> <br />STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA ) <br /> ) <br />CABARRUS COUNTY ) <br /> <br /> Resolution No. 2000-25 <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Cabarrus County has one (1) 1993 Ford E-350 ambulance, serial <br />number 1FDKE30M1PHB02526; and, <br /> WHEREAS, this Board desires to dispose of the above referenced <br />equipment; and, <br /> WHEREAS, North Carolina General Statute 160A, Article 12 sets forth <br />procedures and requirements for counties in selling and disposing of <br />property. Procedures include private negotiation and sale, sale by sealed <br />bids, auction, upset bids, and exchanges; and, <br /> WHEREAS, North Carolina General Statute 160A-279 provides that any <br />governmental unit may convey personal property to any other entity carrying <br />out a public purpose, without compensation. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Commissioners of Cabarrus <br />County as follows: <br /> That in accordance with the provisions of General Statute 160A-267, <br />this Board authorizes the County Purchasing Agent to dispose of the above <br />referenced personal property no earlier than ten (10) days after a notice <br />summarizing the contents of the resolution is published once. FENNEL, CHAIRMAN <br />CABARRUS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Agreement with Correctional Foodservice Management to Extend the Jail Food <br />Service Contract with Adjusted Rate Schedule <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of chairman Fennel, seconded by Commissioner Privette and <br />unanimously carried, the Board approved Amendment #1 to the Food Service <br />Agreement, Cabarrus County Jail, with Correctional Foodservice Management <br />extending the Management Operating Agreement entered into on September 21, <br />1999 for the period September 21, 2000 through September 20, 2001. Further, <br />the Board authorized the County Manager to sign Amendment #1 on behalf of <br />Cabarrus County. The price scale for the extended period was as follows <br /> <br /> <br />
