Mr. Mike Nunn, the new MPO <br />Coordinator, has been in contact with representatives from each community, <br />the developer and the NCDOT to ensure the scope of the study is properly <br />defined and will be accepted by NCDOT. The contract should go before the two <br />MPO committees (Transportation Advisory Committee and Transportation <br />Coordinating Committee) in February for approval. Future updates on the <br />status of the project will be provided to the Board. <br /> <br /> The Board briefly discussed the urgent need for road improvements in <br />Cabarrus County and efforts to speed up local road projects.
