188 <br /> <br />Highway 601 Bypass. An upset bid of $530,000.00 was received on April 12 from <br />Denmar Public Warehouse. The current bid period will end on April 21, and <br />the high bid at that time will be advertised. <br /> <br />CLOSED SESSION <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Barnhart, seconded by Commissioner Fennel and <br />unanimously carried, the Board moved to go into closed session to establish, <br />or to instruct staff concerning the position to be taken by or on behalf the <br />Board in negotiating the price and other material terms of a contract or <br />proposed contract for the acquisition of real property by purchase, option, <br />exchange or lease as authorized by North Carolina General Statutes 143- <br />318.11(a) (5).
