283 <br /> <br />including the day of , __, including extensions and <br />renewals, the property described as follows: <br /> See Exhibit 1. <br />The provisions set forth in a written Lease Agreement between the parties <br />dated , 1999, are hereby incorporated in this Memorandum. <br /> <br /> This the day of ,1999. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />By: <br /> <br />Chairman, Board of <br />County Commissioners <br /> <br />County Clerk <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />County Attorney <br /> <br />STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br />Governor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Secretary of State <br /> <br />Business Personal Property Audit Services Contract (Contract #99-71-013) with <br />Tax Manaqement Associates, Inc. <br /> <br /> Chairman Barnhart asked that consideration of the proposed contract with <br />Tax Management Associates be deferred one month. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner Casper and <br />unanimously carried, the Board deferred the proposed Business Personal <br />Property Audit Services Contract (Contract #99-71-013) with Tax Management <br />Associates, Inc. until September 20, 1999. <br /> <br />Removal and Replacement of Potentially Hazardous Trees alonq the Sheriff's <br />Department Parkinq Lots and Adoption of Related Budqet Amendment <br /> <br /> Commissioner Carpenter questioned the proposed removal and replacement of <br />trees along the Sheriff's Department parking lots as well as the estimated <br />cost of $31,000.00 for this work. <br /> <br /> Mr. John Day, Deputy County Manager for Operations, responded to the <br />questions regarding the replacement of the over-mature Bradford Pear trees <br />lining the parking lots along Church Street, Means Street and Corban Avenue. <br />Mr. David Goforth of the Cooperative Extension had inspected the trees and <br />recommended their removal due to hazardous failure potential. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Barnhart, seconded by Commissioner Fennel and <br />unanimously carried, the Board approved the landscaping project along the <br />Sheriff's Department parking lots at a projected total cost of $31,000.00 <br />(Plant Material and Labor $17,000.00; Tree and root removal - $4,000.00; <br />Paver edging - $4,000.00; and Irrigation - $6,000.00).
