471 <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 1997-21 <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED that Sections 58-112 and 58-115 of the Code of <br />Ordinances, Cabarrus County, North Carolina, are hereby amended to read <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 58-112. Term; renewal <br />A franchise shall be for a term <br />determined by the board and may be renewable. <br /> <br />Sec. 58-115. Franchises. <br />Notwithstanding any other provision of this division to the contrary, <br />the board may grant nonexclusive or exclusive franchises for the <br />collection and disposal of residential, commercial, industrial, <br />institutional and construction and demolition wastes throughout the <br />county. <br /> <br />Adopted this the 20th day of January, 1998 by the Cabarrus County Board <br />of Commissioners. <br /> <br /> /s/ Sue B.
