6OO <br /> <br /> The Board made no changes to the proposed Social Services budget as <br />submitted by the County Manager. <br /> <br />Budget Review <br /> <br /> The Board reviewed the following budgets: Health Alliance, Building <br />Inspections/Erosion Control, Emergency Medical Services; Emergency Management; <br />Planning Services; Transportation Planning; Zoning; Landfill/Solid Waste; <br />Economic Development - Incentive Grants. <br /> <br /> The Board made no changes to the proposed budgets. However, Mr. Clifton <br />advised that an industrial development incentive grant of approximately <br />$38,000.00 for S&D Coffee would be included in the final budget. This amount <br />is based upon the Incentive Grant Agreement previously approved by the Board. <br /> <br />Future Budget Meetings <br /> <br /> The Board amended its budget review schedule as follows: <br /> <br />June 4 - Public Hearing on the Proposed Schedule of Values for the <br />1999 Revaluation; Budgets for Property Maintenance, Recreation, <br />Cabarrus-Rowan Park Commission; Soil & Water Conservation/ <br />Watershed; Cooperative Extension; Mental Health; and Aging. <br /> <br />June 8 - Education (County Schools, Kannapolis Schools, Rowan- <br />Cabarrus Community College) and remaining allocations; Review of <br />County Pay Plan Amendments. <br /> <br />June 9 o Meeting Canceled <br /> <br />June 10 - Meeting canceled <br /> <br />June 15 - Regular Meeting; Public Hearing on proposed budget at <br />7:00 P.M. <br /> <br />June 22 - Recessed Meeting for Adoption of the Budget <br /> <br />Recess of Meeting <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, Chairman <br />Casper recessed the meeting at 7:50 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 4, <br />1998. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
