H & R Lawn Service: East District $3,882.00/mowing <br /> <br />Southwest <br /> <br /> In response to questions by Board members, Mr. Clifton advised that he <br />would include the funding for schools ground maintenance when comparing <br />school expenditures in the future. <br /> <br />Review of Incentive Grant Proqram <br /> <br /> Commissioner Barnhart reported that the Concord City Council had <br />directed the City Manager to review the incentive grant programs. He <br />recommended that the County Manager work with the Concord City Manager in <br />this review process and invite other municipalities in the county to join in <br />the process. <br /> <br /> Mr. Clifton stated he would be working with the municipalities and <br />indicated a work session would be scheduled in the future. <br /> <br />INFORMAL PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br /> Chairman Casper opened the meeting for informal public comments at 9:45 <br />p.m. There was no one present to address the Board, and Chairman Casper <br />closed this portion of the meeting. <br /> <br />REPORTS <br /> <br />Annual Report for Fiscal Year 1997-98 on Cabarrus County Parks, Recreation <br />and Property Maintenance Department <br /> <br /> The Cabarrus County Parks, Recreation, and Property Maintenance <br />Department Annual Report for 1997-1998 was included as a part of the Agenda. <br /> <br />RECESS OF MEETING <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, Chairman <br />Casper recessed the meeting at 9:46 p.m. until 6:30 P.m. on Monday, November <br />30, 1998. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
