<br />session in the Multi-Purpose Room at the Cabarrus County Governmental Center in
<br />Concord, North Carolina on Monday, January 22, 1996, at 6:30 P.M.

<br /> Also present were Mr. Fletcher L. Hartsell, Jr., County Attorney, and Mr.
<br />John Day, Budget Officer/Area Manager. In the absence of the Clerk, the minutes
<br />were recorded by Mr. Day.

<br />Chairman Barnhart called the meeting to order at 6:30 P.M.

<br /> The Board met in joint session with members of the Cabarrus County Board
<br />of Education and the Kannapolis City Board of Education.
<br />
<br /> Dr. Harold Winkler, Cabarrus County Schools Superintendent, presented the
<br />following Ten-Year Facilities Plan for the County Schools.
