Further, <br />he pointed out that there is a 30-day termination contract provision in the event <br />that problems should occur. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Casper, seconded by Commissioner Fennel with <br />Commissioners Casper and Fennel and Chairman Barnhart voting for and Commissioner <br />Mills voting against, the Board approved the "Service Contract for Micrographics <br />Service" between Reliable Microfilming, Inc., and Cabarrus County for a period <br />of twelve (12) months beginning June 1, 1996 with a renewal option for two <br />successive one-year periods. The contract provided for the filming of documents <br />at a rate of $18.75 per 1000 images and the duplication of film, including <br />cartridge and box, at a cost of $5.75 each. The contract is on file in the <br />Office of the County Manager and hereby included by reference as a part of the <br />minutes. <br /> <br />Engtneerin~ Proposals for Industrial Access Road <br /> <br /> Mr. Clifton presented a document listing the engineering proposals which <br />had been received for the roadway design, bidding and inspection services for an <br />entrance road (Industrial Access-DOT) to a proposed manufacturing site in <br />Cabarrus County. He explained that the company had not yet made a formal <br />announcement to locate in Cabarrus County; therefore, the name of the client as <br />well as the location of the proposed facility had been blacked out on the <br />document. To expedite the engineering aspect of the project, Mr. Clifton <br />requested the Board to authorize the spending of an amount up to $8,500.00 on <br /> <br /> <br />
