129 <br /> <br />BUDGET REVISION/AMENDMENT REQUEST <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT <br />AMOUNT: $3,000.00 <br />TYPE OF ADJUSTMENT: Supplemental Request <br />PURPOSE OF REQUEST: To establish additional funds received from Duke Power. <br /> <br /> Present Approved <br />Account No. Budget <br />01-6-27-10-807 -0- <br /> Operations Grant Duke Power <br />01-9-27-10-355 8,000.00 <br /> Other Operating Costs <br /> <br />Increase Decrease <br /> <br />3,000.00 <br />3,000.00 <br /> <br />Revised <br />Budget <br />3,0OO.OO <br /> <br />11,000.00 <br /> <br />Resolution Approving the Installation of the 'Welcome to Cabarrus County Sign" <br /> <br /> Commissioner Fennel asked that the Reimbursement Agreement with the <br />Department of Transportation be amended to state: "The Department in coordination <br />with the Cabarrus County Tourism Authority, if possible, would be responsible for <br />designing the signs, providing the signing materials and installing the signs." <br />The Board agreed to the amendment to the Reimbursement Agreement subject to <br />approval by the Department of Transportation. <br /> <br /> A motion was made by Chairman Barnhart and seconded by Coxmissioner Niblock <br />for the adoption of the following Resolution, and upon being put to a vote was <br />duly adopted: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Cabarrus and the North Carolina <br />Department of Transportation propose to install ten (10) '~Welcome to <br />Cabarrus County" signs at various locations within Cabarrus County; <br />and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Cabarrus desires to enter into a <br />municipal agreement with the Department of Transportation whereby <br />the Department shall design the signs, provide the materials and <br />install the signs; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County shall reimburse the Department 100% of the <br />actual cost of all work performed by the Department. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Project 4.6100047, <br />Cabarrus County, is hereby formally approved by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of the County of Cabarrus and that the Chairman and <br />Clerk of this County are hereby empowered to sign and execute the <br />Agreement with the Department of Transportation. <br /> <br />Budget Amendment Public Health (Summer Food Program Funds) <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Barnhart, seconded by Commissioner Niblock and <br />unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following budget amendment. <br /> <br />BUDGET REVISION/AMENDMENT REQUEST <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH <br />AMOUNT: $375.20 <br />TYPE OF ADJUSTMENT: Supplemental Request <br />PURPOSE OF REQUEST: Receipt of Summer Food Program Funds from DEHNR for <br />inspections of summer concessions. <br /> <br /> Present Approved <br />Account No. Budget Increase <br />01-6-58-05-264 $ .00 $375.20 <br /> Env.
