152 <br /> <br />Scheduling of Public Hearin~ on the SYSCO Project <br /> <br /> Mr. Hartsell asked that the Board set a date for a public hearing to <br />consider the industrial incentive agreement with SYSCO Corporation. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Fennel, seconded by Commissioner Mills and <br />unanimously carried, the Board set a public hearing at 5:30 P.M. on Tuesday, <br />September 3, 1996, to consider the industrial incentive agreement with the SYSCO <br />Corporation. <br /> <br /> The Board will also discuss the start-up costs for the Weddington Hills <br />Elementary School at the meeting on September 3. <br /> <br />Closed Session to Consider Matters Relating to the Location or Expansion of <br />Industry as Authorized by NCGS 143-318.11(a)(4) and to Consider and Establish a <br />Negotiatin8 Position in the Acquisition of Real Property as Authorized by NCGS <br />143-318.11(a)(5) <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Barnhart, seconded by Commissioner Fennel and <br />unanimously carried, the Board moved to go into closed session as authorized by <br />North Carolina General Statutes 143-318.11(a)(4)(5). <br /> <br />Commissioner Mills asked to be excused for the remainder of the meeting. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Barnhart, seconded by Commissioner Fennel and <br />unanimously carried, the Board voted to excuse Commissioner Mills for the <br />remainder of the meeting. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Barnhart, seconded by Commissioner Fennel with <br />Chairman Barnhart and Commissioners Fennel, Casper and Niblock voting for, the <br />Board moved to come out of the closed session. <br /> <br />No action was reported from the closed session. <br /> <br />Recess of Meetin~ <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, Chairman Barnhart <br />recessed the meeting at 8:10 P.M. until 5:30 P.M. on Tuesday, September 3, 1996. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
