Harris Construction <br /> <br />Total Base Bid <br /> <br />$333,110.00 <br />$419,416.00 <br />$483,180.00 <br />$513,295.00 <br />$808,340.00 <br /> <br /> He recommended the acceptance of all bids and the award of the contract to <br />the lowest bidder, BRS, Inc., in the amount of $333,110.00. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Fennel, seconded by Chairma~ Barnhart and <br />unanimously carried, the Board accepted all bids as received for the "Raw Water <br />Pump Station Relocation - City of Kannapolis" and awarded the bid to the lowest <br />bidder, BRS, Inc., in the amoun~ of $333,110.00 for the total base bid. <br /> <br />Proposed Muddy Creek Drainage Basin Availability Fee - Mr. Henry Waldroup <br /> <br /> Mr. Henry Waldroup, Utilities Director, reviewed the proposed availability <br />fee to help provide revenue for the Muddy Creek project. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Niblock, seconded by Commissioner Fennel and <br />unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following Muddy Creek Drainage Basin <br />Availability Fee. <br /> <br />An availability fee shall 'be charged to each applicant for sewer <br />service in the Muddy Creek drainage basin. <br /> a. Ail lots, developments, parcels, etc. in existence or platted <br /> prior to the adoption of this policy, shall be charged a one <br /> time fee of $500.00 per unit connection for sewer service. <br />b. Ail new lots, developments, parcels, etc., created by land <br /> subdivision or mobile home park regulations after the adoption <br /> of this policy, shall be charged a one time fee of $1,000.00 <br /> per unit connection for sewer service. <br /> <br />These fees are to be charged in addition to the applicable <br />connection fees for sewer service. These fees apply even if the <br />sewer lines and connections are installed at the developers expense.. <br /> <br />* This is the. recommended method for capital expenditure <br /> recovery for the Muddy Creek Sewer Plant, outfalls for the <br /> Midland community. <br /> <br />Appointments - Planning and Zoning Commission (6) <br /> <br /> The terms of appointment for three members and one alternate member of the <br />Planning and Zoning Commission ended on January 31, 1995.
