There are no representations, either oral or <br />written, between AGENCY, COUNTY and CONTRACTOR other than those <br />contained in this Agreement. <br /> IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this <br />Agreement in duplicate the day and year first hereinabove written. <br /> <br />MAYFLOWER CONTRACT AGENCY <br />SERVICES, INC.. <br />By: By: <br />Title: Title: <br /> <br />COUNTY oF CABARRUS <br />By: /s/ Jeffrey L, Barnhart <br />Title: Chairman, Board of Commissioners <br /> <br />Resolution Relative to the Board of Equalization and Review <br /> <br /> Mr. Hartsell reviewed the proposed resolution relative to the Board of <br />Equalization and Review. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Fennel, seconded by Commissioner Niblock with <br />Commissioners Fennel, Niblock and Olio-Mills and Chairman Barnhart voting for, <br />the Board adopted the following Resolution. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of Cabarrus <br />County that five (5) persons, all of fine character and each of whom <br />shall be a resident of, property owner in, or employed in Cabarrus <br />County shall be appointed to a Special Board of Equal~zation and <br />Review effective Aprtl 1, 1995, under the applicable provisionz Qf, <br />and with the dut%es and powers prescribed by, North Carolina General <br />Statute §§ 105-312 and 105-322. This Board shall serve until their <br />successors have been appointed, with the filling of any term vacancy <br />to be made by the Board of Commissioners. The members shall <br />familiarize themselves with the appraisal process of the valuation <br />of property in Cabarrus County and, to that end, may, and are <br />encouraged to accompany appraisers at such times as may be <br />convenient with each member of the Board. The Board of Commissioners <br />shall fix the compensation and allowances to be paid each member for <br />their services and expenses. This Resolution shall not be construed <br />as inconsistent with any prior Resolution regarding a Special Board <br />of Equalization and Review but .merely is a supplement to and <br />reiterates any such Resolution. <br /> <br />Arrival of.Commissioner Casper <br /> <br /> CommiSsioner Casper arrived at 7:00 P.M. and was present for the remainder <br />of the meeting. She apologized to the Board and the citizens of Cabarrus County <br />for her late arrival. <br /> <br />Recognition of Boy Scout Troop 38 (Poplar Tent Presbyterian Church) <br /> <br /> The Board recognized the members of the Boy Scout Troop 38 and their <br />advisors who were present for the meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />
