422 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, several hundred paramedics, emergency medical <br /> technicians, firefighters, first responders, emergency <br /> room physicians and nurses are involved in providing <br /> emergency care around the clock; and <br /> a large number of these individuals unselfishly <br /> volunteer their time to provide this valuable service; <br /> and <br /> the members of emergency medical services teams, whether <br /> career or volunteer, engage in thousands of hours of <br /> specialized training and continuing education to enhance <br /> their lifesaving skills; and <br />WHEREAS, recognition is due all these individuals to show <br /> appreciation for the value and the accomplishments of <br /> all of these individuals who serve on ~behalf of all <br /> Gabarrus County residents. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that we, the Cabarrus County <br />Board of Commissioners, hereby proclaim the week of May 14 20, <br />1995 as <br /> CABARRUS COUNTY EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES WEEK <br />This the 15th day of May, 1995. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Jeffrey L.
