115 <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board of <br />Commissioners for Cabarrus County, <br />North Carolina <br /> WATER AND SEWER DISTRICT OF <br /> CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> By: <br />ATTEST: Chairman <br /> <br />District Clerk <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />WATER AND SEWER AUTHORITY OF <br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />By: <br /> <br />Chairman, Board of Directors <br /> <br />Secretary <br /> <br />Resolution Declaring the Result of the $81,000,000 School Bond Referendum Held <br />on May 3, 1994 <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Barnhart, seconded by Commissioner Fennel and <br />unanimously carried, the Board approved the following proceedings relative to the <br />School Bond Referendum on May 3, 1994 with the deletion of the requirement to <br />publish the statement of the result of the referendum. <br /> <br /> The Board of Commissioners received from the Cabarrus County <br />Board of Elections a certified copy of the proceedings of said Board <br />of Elections taken on May 5, 1994, evidencing said Board's <br />determination of the result of the canvass of the returns of the <br />special bond referendum held in the County of Cabarrus on May 3, <br />1994 upon the question of approving $81,000,000 School Bonds of said <br />County. After said proceedings had been considered and reviewed by <br />the Board of Commissioners, Commissioner Barnhart introduced the <br />following resolution which was read: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULT OF THE SPECIAL BOND REFERENDUM HELD <br />IN THE COUNTY OF CABARRUS, NORTH CAROLINA, ON MAY 3, 1994 UPON THE <br />QUESTION OF APPROVING $81,000,000 SCHOOL BONDS <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners for the County of <br />Cabarrus: <br /> Section 1. The Board of Commissioners for the County of <br />Cabarrus having received from the Cabarrus County Board of Elections <br />a certified copy of the proceedings of said Board of Elections taken <br />on May 5, 1994, evidencing said Board's determination of the result <br />of the canvass of the returns of the special bond referendum held in <br />the County of Cabarrus on May 3, 1994 upon the question of approving <br />$81,000,000 School Bonds of said County, does hereby declare and <br />certify the result of said referendum to be the result which is set <br />forth in the following statement of the result of said referendum, <br />which statement has been prepared by said Board of Commissioners:' <br /> <br /> STATEMENT OF THE RESULT <br /> of the <br /> SPECIAL BOND REFERENDUM <br /> held in the <br />COUNTY OF CABARRUS, NORTH CAROLINA <br />on May 3, 1994 <br /> UPON THE QUESTION OF APPROVING <br /> $81,000,000 SCHOOL BONDS <br /> <br />At a special bond referendum held in the County of Cabarrus on <br />May 3, 1994, 58,974 voters were registered and qualified to vote. <br /> At said referendum 11,199 votes were cast for the order <br />adopted on March 7, 1994, authorizing not exceeding $81,000,000 <br />School Bonds of the County of Cabarrus, North Carolina, for the <br />purpose of providing funds, with any other available funds, for <br />erecting additional school buildings and other school plant <br />facilities, replacing, remodeling, enlarging and reconstructing <br />existing school buildings and other school plant facilities and <br /> <br /> <br />
