176 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a notice has been published in The Concord Tribune, <br />The Daily Independent, and The Charlotte Observer (Cabarrus <br />Neighbors), of the submission to the Board of Commissioners of the <br />proposed schedules and the notice of public hearing; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners has adopted the final <br />schedules, pursuant to the provisions of G.S. 105-317; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that the final uniform schedules <br />of values, standards, and rules attached to this Order are approved <br />for use in appraising real property at its true value and at its <br />present-use value as of January 1, 1995. A notice of the adoption of <br />this Order shall be published once a week for four successive weeks <br />in The Concord TribUne, The Daily Independent, and The Charlotte <br />Observer (Cabarrus Neighbors); and the final schedules shall be <br />available for public inspection at the office of the County <br />Assessor, Cabarrus County Governmental Center, 65 Church Street, <br />S.E., Concord, North Carolina. <br /> This 18th day of July, 1994. <br /> /s/ Jeffrey L. Barnhart, Chairman <br />ATTEST: Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners <br />/s/ Frankie F, Bonds <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> The uniform schedules of values, standards and rules are on file in the <br />Office of the County Manager and the Office of the Tax Assessor and are hereby <br />included by reference as a part of the minutes. <br /> <br />Proclamation in Honor of the Cabarrus County Income Maintenance Caseworkers <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Payne, seconded by Commissioner Casper and <br />unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following Proclamation. <br /> <br /> PROCLAMATION <br />WHEREAS, Cabarrus County Income Maintenance Caseworkers provide <br /> guidance and support to the less fortunate of Cabarrus <br /> County; and <br />WHEREAS, such guidance and support provides food, shelter, and <br /> medical needs to over 14,987 individuals annually; and <br />WHEREAS, these caseworkers perform their duties with an <br /> outstanding record of quality control accuracy; and <br />WHEREAS, these caseworkers have consistently demonstrated their <br /> commitment to improving the quality of life for Cabarrus <br /> County residents; and <br />WHEREAS, these caseworkers have consistently demonstrated their <br /> commitment to perform their duties in the most cost <br /> efficient manner possible, implementing an array of <br /> simplification and automation measures which save <br /> administrative costs and serve as models for <br /> implementation across the State; and <br />WHEREAS, recognition is due these individuals who serve on behalf <br /> of Cabarrus County. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Cabarrus County Board <br />of County Commissioners hereby proclaims the month of August, 1994 <br />as <br /> CABARRUS COUNTY INCOME MAINTENANCE CASEWORKERS MONTH <br />This the 18th day of July, 1994. <br /> /s/ Jeffrey L. Pilkington, Health Director, briefly reviewed the proposal <br />by Camp Dresser & McKee to conduct a Compostin§ Study as requested by the Board <br />on July 5, 1994. The study is to be completed by the second regular meeting in <br />August. <br /> <br /> <br />
