258 <br />Cabarrus County Economic Assistance Plan <br /> <br /> Commissioner Payne stated that there are additional details to be worked <br />out regarding a proposed Economic Assistance Plan for Cabarrus County. He asked <br />that the item be removed from the agenda and that the new Board act on such a <br />plan in the future. <br /> <br /> The Board concurred with the removal of this item from the agenda. The project authorized is the Community Development <br />project described in the work statement contained in the grant <br />agreement 94-C-8357, between this unit and the Department of <br />Commerce. This project is more familiarly known as the Fishertown <br />Revitilization and Greybark Water CDBG Project. <br /> Section 2. The officers of this unit are hereby directed to <br />proceed with the grant project within the terms of the grant <br />document(s), the rules and regulations of the Department of <br />Commerce, and the budget contained herein. <br /> Section 3. The following revenues are anticipated to be <br />available to complete this project: <br /> $630,626.00 ................. Community Development Grant <br /> 250,000.00 .................
