Carpenter, Chairman <br />Board of Commissioners <br /> <br />Logan Association Crime Watch <br /> <br /> Commissioner Casper reported that the crime watch organization in the Logan <br />Community needed such equipment as a bullhorn, walkte talkies, camera and <br />flashlights to assist them in their efforts to patrol the streets in their <br />neighborhood. Stating that the equipment would cost $1,200.00, Commissioner <br />Casper proposed that the County give the Logan Association $600.00 and challenge <br />the City of Concord for a matching grant. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Payne, seconded by Commissioner Barnhart and <br />unanimously carried, the Board agreed to allocate $600.00 from the Contingency <br />Fund to the Logan Association or another organization for the Crime Watch Program <br />in the Logan Community provided that the City of Concord matches the $600.000 and <br />subject to the approval of the County Attorney. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was <br />adjourned at 1:00 P.M. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
