Bonds, Clerk to the Board <br /> <br />Announcements <br /> <br /> Chairman Carpenter announced that Cabarrus County had been selected to <br />participate in the Pets for People Program sponsored by the Ralston-Purina <br />Company. This program will pay the adoption fees and the spay/neuter charges for <br />animals adopted by senior citizens. <br /> <br />INFORMAL PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br /> Mr. Kenneth Ollo of "Tax Watch" stated that he wished to address the Board <br />regarding travel expenses for County employees. At the request of Chairman <br />Carpenter, he agreed to meet with Mr. Witherspoon to discuss his concerns <br />regarding the travel expenses.
