409 <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Barnhart, seconded by Commissioner Fennel and <br />unanimously carried, the Board authorized the Chairman to send a letter to the <br />Commerce Finance Center requesting to transfer the cost savings of approximately <br />$200,000.00 from the Whitley water project to the construction of a water line <br />to serve the Howell Center and Highway 24-27 area. <br /> <br />Recess of Meeting - Water and Sewer District <br /> <br /> Chairman Carpenter recessed the meeting of the Board until the conclusion <br />of the meeting of the Water and Sewer District. <br /> <br /> Chairman Carpenter reconvened the meeting of the Board of Commissioners. <br />INFORMAL PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br /> Chairman Carpenter opened the meeting for Informal Public Comments at 10:45 <br />P.M. and asked if anyone were present who wished to address the Board. <br /> <br /> There was no one present to speak to the Board, and Chairman Carpenter <br />closed that portion of the meeting. <br /> <br />Executive Session - Consultation with Attorney - Land Acquisition <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Casper, seconded by Commissioner Barnhart with <br />Commissioners Casper, Barnhart and Payne and Chairman Carpenter voting for and <br />Commissioner Fennel voting against, the Board moved to go into executive session <br />for consultation with counsel and to discuss possible land acquisition and a <br />personnel matter. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Casper, seconded by Commissioner Barnhart and <br />unanimously carried, the executive session was terminated. <br /> <br /> No action was reported from the executive session. <br /> <br />Adjournment <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was <br />adjourned at approximately 12:00 midnight. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
