Ck. #1819 for $180.00 Present Approved Revised Account No, Budget Increase Decrease Budget 01-6-58-65-803 $ 29,170.00 $11,700.00 Miscellaneous Revenue/Communicable Disease $40,870.00 58-65-360 Medical Supplies $ 60,290.00 $11,700.00 $71,990.00 NEW BUSINESS Mr. Steve Little, Parks and Recreation Director, briefly reviewed the proposed amendment to the Frank Liske Park Ordinance. Citing concerns regarding the danger of fire and the improper disposal of oil, he recommended that the Board prohibit the use of deep fat frying or grease pots at the Park. UPON MOTION of Commissioner Fennel, seconded by Commissioner Payne, with Commissioners Fennel, Payne, and Casper and Chairman Carpenter voting for, the Board approved on first reading the following amendment to "An Ordinance Regulating the Use of Frank Liske Park". Amend Subsection 3 of SECTION 7: Camping, Fires, Picnic Areas to read as follows: SECTION 7: Camping, Fires, Picnic Areas It shall be unlawful to: 3. Bring deep fat frying or grease pots into the Park. Addition to Agenda UPON MOTION of Commissioner Fennel, seconded by Chairman Carpenter with Commissioners Fennel, Casper and Payne and Chairman Carpenter voting for, the Board agreed to add to the agenda the discussion of the proposed metric conversion of traffic control signs. Appointment of Additional Member to Transportation Advisory Board The Board received the recommendation from the Transportation Advisory Board for the appointment of Ms. Lu Ann Barnhardt to that advisory board as a representative of the visually impaired population. Commissioner Payne made motion, seconded by Commissioner Fennel, to appoint Ms. Lu Ann Barnhardt to the Transportation Advisory Board. There were no other nominations and Chairman Carpenter moved that nominations be closed. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Casper. Chairman Carpenter and Commissioners Payne, Casper and Fennel voted to appoint Ms. Lu Ann Barnhardt to the Transportation Advisory Board for a three- year term ending June 30, 1996. Chairman Carpenter proposed that the Board consider the appointment of a nursing home representative to the Transportation Advisory Board. The Board by consensus agreed to the proposal, and Chairman Carpenter asked Commissioner Casper to make a recommendation to the Board for this appointment.
