Coltrane <br /> President <br /> <br />EXHIBIT A - Map showing relocation of telephone lines <br />EXHIBIT B - Letter dated March 12, 1992 from The Concord Telephone <br /> Company to Cabarrus County listing estimate of cost with total <br /> estimate of $182,932.69. <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Payne, seconded by Commissioner Hamby with <br />Commissioner Payne, Hamby and Barnhart and Chairman Carpenter voting for, the <br />Board approved the purchase of the Katie Daniels Baxter estate property <br />consisting of approximately six and one-half (6 1/2) acres in the Coddle Creek <br />Reservoir Project area at a cost of $30,000.00. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Barnhart, seconded by Commissioner Payne with <br />Commissioners Barnhart, Payne and Hamby and Chairman Carpenter voting for, the <br />Board approved the purchase of the Hannah Jackson estate property consisting of <br />a residence and several acres in the Coddle Creek Reservoir project area at a <br />cost of $20,000.00. <br /> Chairman Carpenter announced that this was County Government Week and <br />noted that articles regarding this celebration were featured in the recent <br />Public Affairs Bulletin. Also, she reported that she would distribute a video <br />on County Government prepared by the North Carolina Association of County <br />Commissioners to the high schools in the county during this week. <br /> The Board requested an update on the work involving the E911 emergency <br />communications service for the county. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Barnhart, seconded by Commissioner Carpenter <br />with Commissioners Barnhart, Hamby and Payne and Chairman Carpenter voting for, <br />the Board moved to go into executive session to discuss pending litigation. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hamby, seconded by Commissioner Payne with <br />Commissioner Hamby, Payne, and Barnhart and Chairman Carpenter voting for, the <br />executive session was adjourned. <br /> No action was reported from the executive session. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, Chairman <br />Carpenter recessed the meeting until 5:30 P.M. on Monday, April 13, 1992. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
