529 <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Barnhart, seconded by Commissioner Hamby with <br />Commissioners Barnhart, Hamby, and Payne and Chairman Carpenter voting for, the <br />Board approved the request for a fireworks display by Cannon Village in downtown <br />Kannapolis on July 4, 1992. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hamby, seconded by Commissioner Barnhart with <br />Commissioners Hamby, Barnhart, an~ Payne and Chairman Carpenter voting for, the <br />Board adopted the following Proclamation. <br /> <br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />North Carolina <br /> <br />PROCLAMATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Emergency Medical Services personnel provide essential <br />lifesaving medical care to the citizens of Cabarrus <br />County; and <br />several hundred emergency medical technicians, <br />paramedics, emergency room physicians and nurses are <br />involved in providing emergency care around the clock; <br />and <br />a large number of these individuals unselfishly <br />volunteer their time to provide this valuable service; <br />and <br />recognition is due these individuals who serve on behalf <br />of all Cabarrus County residents. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Cabarrus Board of <br />County Commissioners hereby proclaims the week of May 10 - 16, 1992 <br />as <br /> <br />CABARRUS COUNTY EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES WEEK <br /> <br />This the 4th day of May, 1992. <br /> <br />/s/ Carolyn B.
