91 UPON MOTION of Commissioner Barnhart, seconded by Commissioner Payne and unanimously carried, the Board appointed Ms. Martha Macon, Mr. Louis Jenkins and Mr. Wayne Trexler to the Human Services Task Force as recommended and appointed Dr. David Lockhart as a physician representative to the Task Force. Members of the Task Force will serve until such time as their work is completed. The Board further directed the Task Force Chairman and County Manager to set up a meeting as soon as possible. E911 Communications Chairman Carpenter thanked all who had worked to implement Egll which became operational on October 1, 1992. She paid special recognition to the Cabarrus County Sheriff's Department, County Planning and Zoning, Concord Planning and Zoning, Concord Police, Kannapolis Police, Concord Telephone Company, volunteer fire departments, and the municipalities of Concord, Kannapolis, Harrisburg and Mt. Pleasant.
