Bonds, Clerk <br /> <br />Proclamation Honoring the Cabarrus County Vocal Ensemble <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Casper, seconded by Chairman Carpenter with <br />Commissioners Casper, Barnhart and Payne and Chairman Carpenter voting for, the <br />Board adopted the following Proclamation. <br /> <br /> PROCLAMATION <br />HONORING THE CABARRUS COUNTY VOCAL ENSEMBLE <br />AS THE <br /> OFFICIAL BICENTENNIAL ENSEMBLE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the year 1992 is the Bicentennial year of Cabarrus County, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, many events undertaken to celebrate the Bicentennial were enhanced <br />by the performances of the Cabarrus County Vocal Ensemble, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Cabarrus County Vocal Ensemble delighted the citizens of <br />Cabarrus County in these performances, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the performances added to the enjoyment of the Bicentennial <br />Celebration and assisted in attracting public attention to the historical <br />significance of the County's Founding, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Cabarrus County Vocal Ensemble provided the Bicentennial <br />celebration a consistently high quality, artistic ambiance. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Cabarrus County Board of <br />Commissioners hereby honors the contributions and support of the Cabarrus County <br />Vocal Ensemble and hereby recognizes the Cabarrus County Vocal Ensemble as the <br />Official Cabarrus County Ensemble. <br /> <br /> In witness hereof, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of <br />Cabarrus County at the Cabarrus County Governmental Center, this the 29th day of <br />December, 1992. <br /> <br /> <br />
