156 <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Barnhart, seconded by Commissioner Payne with <br />Comm'issioners Barnhart, Hamby, and Carpenter and Chairman Simmons voting for <br />and Commissioner Payne voting against, the Board approved the Property <br />Maintenance budget as recommended with the following changes: Reduce Uniforms <br />(Line Item 340) to $2,000.00; Reduce Automotive Supplies (Line Item 345) to <br />$4,000.00; Reduce Purchased Service (Line Item 445) to $3,500.00; Reduce <br />Building and Grounds Maintenance (Line Item 501) to $5,000.00; and Reduce <br />Equipment and Furniture (Line Item 860) to $8,600.00. <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Simmons, seconded by Commissioner Barnhart and <br />unanimously carried, the Board approved the budget for the Cabarrus-Rowan Park <br />Commission as recommended. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hamby, seconded by Commissioner Barnhart and <br />unanimously carried, the Board approved the Emergency Telephone System (E-911) <br />budget as recommended. <br /> The Board reviewed the recommended budget for the Water and Sewer District <br />and discussed the possibility of levying a tax on the residents of the District <br />as well as annexing areas into the District.
