219 <br /> <br />Industry Recruiting <br />Industry Retention <br /> <br />8,000 <br />3,500 <br /> <br />TOTAL DISBURSEMENT <br /> <br />158,233 <br /> <br />NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> <br />CONTRACT <br /> <br /> THIS CONTRACT, made by and between Cabarrus County, <br />hereinafter referred to as the "County", by and through its Parks <br />and Recreation Department, and Cabarrus County Boys Club, <br />Incorporated, hereinafter referred to as "Boys Club"; <br /> W I T N E S S E T H: that -- <br /> WHEREAS, Boys Club operates and provides an annual camp for <br />girls of Cabarrus County, and is properly incorporated in the State <br />of North Carolina for this purpose; and <br /> WHEREAS, Boys Club wishes to secure the continued financial <br />support of the County for a portion of the costs incurred in <br />providing these services; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County, in the interest of the welfare of its <br />citizens, desires to provide financial support for a portion of the <br />costs incurred by Boys Club in its provision of these services; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County has appropriated the sum of $5,000.00 for <br />this purpose for the period July 1, 1991 through June 30, 1992 <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises, County and <br />Boys Club do mutually agree to the following terms and conditions: <br /> 1. This contract shall begin July 1, 1991 and shall exist and <br />continue through June 30, 1992 <br /> 2. Boys Club shall provide its services to individuals who <br />qualify for these services in relation to Boys Club's established <br />policies in a manner specified by these policies. These policies <br />are understood to provide for compliance with Titles VI and VII of <br />the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation <br />Act of 1973, as appropriate, in addition to any other local <br />ordinances, state laws, and federal regulations which may be <br />applicable to Cannon YMCA and its services. <br /> 3. The County shall allocate and pay to Boys Club the sum of <br />$5,000.00 upon receipt of Boys Club's invoice therefore. <br /> 4. Boys Club will undergo an audit of its operations <br />conducted by a Certified Public Accountant and will submit a copy <br />of the report of this audit to the Parks and Recreation Department <br />within ninety (90) days of the conclusion of Boys Club's established <br />fiscal year. <br /> 5. Boys Club agrees to hold the County and the Parks and <br />Recreation Department harmless for any and all liability, damages <br />or claims, including attorney' fees, that might be asserted or <br />suffered by the County or the Parks and Recreation Department as a <br />result of any act or omission of any of Boys Club's officers, <br />employees, agents or representatives arising out of this contract. <br /> 6.
