263 <br /> <br /> ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION <br />OF THE WATER AND SEWER AUTHORITY OF CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> <br /> The Articles of Incorporation of the Water and Sewer Authority of Cabarrus <br />County, an authority organized under the provisions of the North Carolina Water <br />and Sewer Authorities Act, being Article 1 of Chapter 162A of the General <br />Statutes of North Carolina, as amended, by the Board of Commissioners for <br />Cabarrus County, North Carolina, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Concord, <br />North Carolina, the City Council of the City of Kannapolis, North Carolina, the <br />Town Council of the Town of Harrisburg, North Carolina, and the Board of <br />Commissioners of the Town of Mount Pleasant, North Carolina, are as follows: <br /> (1) The name of such authority shall be the "WATER AND SEWER <br /> AUTHORITY OF CABARRUS COUNTY" (hereinafter referred to as <br /> "Authority"). <br /> (2) The Authority is organized under Section 162A-3.1 of the <br /> North Carolina Water and Sewer Authorities Act, as amended. <br /> (3) The names of the organizing political subdivisions of the <br /> Authority are Cabarrus County, North Carolina, the City of Concord, <br /> North Carolina, the City of Kannapolis, North Carolina, the Town of <br /> Harrisburg, North Carolina and the Town of Mount Pleasant, North <br /> Carolina. <br /> (4) The Authority shall have nine members, two appointed by <br /> the Board of Commissioners for Cabarrus County, North Carolina, two <br /> appointed by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Concord, North <br /> Carolina, two appointed by the City Council of the City of <br /> Kannapolis, North Carolina, one appointed by the Town Council of <br /> the Town of Harrisburg, North Carolina, one appointed by the Board <br /> of Commissioners of the Town of Mount Pleasant, North Carolina, and <br /> one appointed by the Board of Commissioners for Cabarrus County, <br /> North Carolina with the advice of the other organizing political <br /> subdivisions. <br /> The names and addresses of the first members of the Authority <br /> appointed by the Board of Commissioners for Cabarrus County, North <br /> Carolina are: <br /> NAME ADDRESS <br /> <br /> The names and addresses of the first members of the Authority <br />appointed by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Concord, North <br />Carolina are: <br /> NAME ADDRESS <br /> <br /> The names and addresses of the first members of the Authority <br />appointed by the City Council of the City of Kannapolis, North <br />Carolina are: <br /> NAME ADDRESS <br /> <br /> The name and addresses of the first member of the Authority <br />appointed by the Board of Commissioners of the Town of Mount <br />Pleasant, North Carolina are: <br /> NAME ADDRESS <br /> <br /> The name and addresses of the first member of the Authority <br />appointed by the Town Council of the Town of Harrisburg, North <br />Carolina are: <br /> NAME ADDRESS <br /> <br /> The?name and addresses of the first member of the AuthoritY <br />appointed by the Board of Commissioners for Cabarrus County, North <br />Carolina ~ith the advice of the other organizing political <br />subdivisions %re: <br /> NAME ADDRESS <br /> <br /> (5) ~i T~e members of the Authority will be limited to such <br />members as maY be appointed from time to time by the organizing <br />politicalsub~ivisions. <br /> <br /> <br />
