Ruffin <br /> <br />County Manager/Administrator <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br /> The Board received the offer of $100.00 from Mr. Dean Isom for the <br />purchase of farm machinery located on County property at Saxton Court. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hamby, seconded by Commissioner Simmons with <br />Commissioners Hamby, Simmons, and Melvin and Chairman Lentz voting for, the <br />Board by resolution declared the following equipment as surplus property and <br />authorized the sale of said equipment by private negotiation to Mr. Dean Isom <br />at a cost of $100.00. <br /> <br />EQUIPMENT MAKE YEAR <br />1 Farm Tractor Unknown Late 1960 <br />1 - Hay Baler Ford Early 1960 <br />1 - Hay Rake Unknown Early 1960 <br /> <br /> The Board deferred consideration of the information relative to the <br />schools current expense budget for Fiscal Year 1990-1991 as set forth as Item <br />6 of the agenda and submitted by Commissioner Simmons. <br /> Recognition of the students participating in a trip to Russia was delayed <br />until a later meeting. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Melvin, seconded by Chairman Lentz with <br />Commissioners Melvin, Hamby, and Simmons and Chairman Lentz voting for, the <br />Board moved to go into executive session to discuss possible litigation with the <br />County Attorney. <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Melvin with <br />Chairman Lentz and Commissioners Melvin, Hamby and Simmons voting for, the <br />executive session was terminated. <br /> No action was reported from the executive session. <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was <br />adjourned at 9:40 P.M. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
