(If the Department delivers, there <br /> must be a minimum rental of $15.00 and an additional $20.00 if set up <br /> on weekends.) <br /> <br />Table ......................................... $ 2.00 each <br />Chair ........................................ .50 each <br />Delivery/Set-Up .............................. 10.00 <br /> <br />COSTUMES <br /> 1 Costume Rental .............................. $25.00 per day <br /> 1 Costume with (1) Staff ..................... 50.00 per 2 hours <br /> <br />PIANO <br /> Per rental period .......................... $10.00 per rental period <br /> <br />Ms. Cynthia Eades, Personnel Officer, reviewed the proposed contract for <br />drug testing services for County employees. <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairman Lentz, seconded by Commissioner Simmons with <br />Chairman Lentz and Commissioners Simmons, Hamby, and Melvin voting for, the <br />Board agreed to enter into a contract with Wolfe and Associates to conduct pre- <br />employment drug testing for Cabarrus County and authorized Chairman Lentz to <br />sign the contract on behalf of Cabarrus County. In accordance with the <br />contract, Wolfe and Associates will provide the County with the following <br />services at a cost of $53.00 per test. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />Contract with CompuChem Laboratory, a NIDA certified testing <br />laboratory, for drug screening, both initial screening and Gas <br />Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry confirmation screening. <br />CompuChem will test for amphetamines, marijuana, cocaine, opiates <br />and PCP. <br />Collection of specimens for drug testing, following Department <br />of Transportation regulations and using proper chain-of-custody <br />procedures. <br />Overnight delivery of specimens to CompuChem Laboratory. <br />Medical Review Officer (MRO) services through Duke University <br />Medical Center. The MRO will review all drug testing results, <br />including laboratory determination,.applicant medical records or <br />medical history, and applicant interview where necessary. <br />Reporting of positive or negative results by facsimile <br />transmission and U.S. Mail. <br />Toll-free watts line to MRO for use by County, County employees <br />and county applicants. <br />Storage of results according to Federal guidelines. <br />Ensure compliance with the Administrative Rules and <br />Implementation Guide as adopted by the North Carolina Sheriffs' <br />Education and Training Standards Commission. <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS CONSENT <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Hamby, seconded by Commissioner Simmons with <br />Commissioners Hamby, Simmons, and Melvin and Chairman Lentz voting for, the <br />Board granted permission to the Kannapolis Chamber of Commerce for a fireworks <br />display at 9:30 P.M. on May 12, 1990 in the parking lot adjacent to Village Park <br />in Kannapolis. <br /> <br /> <br />
