434 <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Commissioner Hamby and seconded by Commissioner Moss <br />to table the setting of the tax rate until adoption of the Fiscal Year 1990- <br />1991 budget. Vote was as follows. <br /> <br />Voting for - Commissioners Hamby and Moss <br />Voting against - Chairman Lentz and Commissioner Melvin <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Commissioner Hamby and seconded by Chairman Lentz to <br />adopt the proposed Fiscal Year 1990-1991 Cabarrus County Budget with the changes <br />approved during the budget review sessions and to set the tax rate at 63 cents <br />(63¢). Vote was as follows. <br /> <br />Voting for - Commissioners Hamby and Chairman Lentz <br />Voting against - Commissioners Moss and Melvin <br /> <br /> Motion was made by Commissioner Moss and seconded by Commissioner Melvin <br />to set the tax rate at 63 cents (63¢) and to ask the County Manager and his <br />staff to review the budget along with items discussed by the Board in order to <br />come up with additional monies that would increase the Capital Improvement <br />Projects funding from $90,000.00 to $500,000.00. Vote was as follows. <br /> <br />Voting for Commissioners Moss and Melvin <br />Voting against - Chairman Lentz and Commissioner Hamby <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, Chairman Lentz <br />recessed the meeting until 2:30 P.M. on Tuesday, June 19, 1990. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
