Hartsell, Jr., County Attorney, reported that Widenhouse, <br />Inc., had requested permission to construct culverts on County property at the <br />Coddle Creek site in order to move a house purchased by Mr. Bob Bridgeman. The <br />house cannot be moved over Rankin Road as its weight would cause the bridge to <br />collapse. <br /> UPON MOTION of Commissioner Moss, seconded by Chairman Lentz and <br />unanimously carried, the Board approved the request by Widenhouse, Inc. to <br />construct culverts on the Coddle Creek property in order to move a house <br />purchased by Mr. Bob Bridgeman. This work is to be done subject to engineering <br />approval. <br /> Mr. Fletcher L. Hartsell, Jr., County Attorney, recommended that the Board <br />obtain copies for review of the second edition of the "Suggested Rules of <br />Procedure for the Board of County Commissioners" published by the Institute of <br />Government. <br /> Chairman Lentz noted that a lawsuit had been filed against Cabarrus County <br />by Piedmont Peace Project relative to the registration of voters at the <br />Department of Social Services facility. <br /> Mr. Fletcher L. Hartsell, Jr., County Attorney reported he had received <br />a copy of a letter dated August 31, 1990 from the Advisory Council on Historic <br />Preservation to the Federal Aviation Administration that concurred with the <br />State's findings with regard to the airport siting.
