Payment to Contractor: Payment will only be provided for property authorized and approved trips. <br />CCTS will not be responsible for payment for trips requested by the customer or any other agency <br />representing the customer. CCTS may also withhold payment for services it believes were improper, which <br />failed to meet service specifications, or which are otherwise questionable. <br />Cabarrus County shall be billed on a per -vehicle per mile trip basis, or on a per -trip rate or on a per -hour <br />per -mile cost combination, depending on the baseline chosen in the contract. Mileage is subject to <br />audit to ensure most economical travel path. Contractor will assign passengers to rides at the lowest <br />cost or mode of transportation.
