e©e ALLIANCES <br />at NC Research Campus <br />April 2, 2018 <br />Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners <br />Cabarrus County Governmental Center <br />65 Church Street, S <br />Concord, NC 28025 <br />Re: Cabarrus County Public Health Authority Board <br />Effective June 30, 2018, the Cabarrus County Public Health Authority Board will have <br />a public member seat vacancy, with the resignation of Darise'Dari' Caldwell. <br />Mark Spitzer, Vice -President, Castle & Cooke, North Carolina, LLC, has expressed an <br />interest in filling this vacant seat. <br />Mr. Spitzer is very highly involved in the Kannapolis community through his work <br />with Castle & Cooke, and the North Carolina Research Campus. Over the last few <br />years, Cabarrus Health Alliance, Castle & Cooke, and the City of Kannapolis have <br />launched numerous collaborative projects to benefit our community. It is only fitting <br />that Mr. Spitzer become more involved in our organization, which in turn will be of <br />benefit to all of us and help bridge the gap between community needs and the <br />resources we all can provide. <br />The Cabarrus County Public Health Authority Board recommends the appointment of <br />Mark Spitzer to serve as a Public Member for a three-year term. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />POA�q 07 - <br />Dianne P.
