SECTION 1 <br />STATEMENT OF WORK <br />This Statement of Work ("SOW") outlines the Services that were assumed to be performed by Motorola <br />Solutions in support of the Cabarrus County NC Phase 2. <br />GENERAL <br />1.1 Motorola will not be obligated to perform any addition, deletion, or change to the Installation <br />and Test Scope of Work that has a cost impact unless the addition, deletion or change has been <br />documented in a writing signed by Motorola and Cabarrus County. <br />1.2 Motorola will take reasonable efforts to minimize the impact of any delays and lost time to the <br />overall project schedule. <br />1.3 All Installation & Test pricing is based on a continuous work effort. Additional mobilization <br />costs have not been factored into the cost proposal if Cabarrus County delays the project. <br />1.4 Motorola's proposal anticipates the use of industry standard materials and performance of the <br />work during normal business hours, which are between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 <br />P.m. at the job site. Business days consist of 10 hours per day, Monday through Saturday <br />excluding all Motorola observed holidays. <br />1.5 The tower known today as "W eddingion" as a part of the Cabarrus County Radio Network, is <br />included in this proposal to be upfitted with the equipment as listed in this proposal. Due to a potential <br />site change of the tower, the equipment will be installed on the tower at a later unknown date. Motorola <br />and it's subcontractors agree as part of the proposal and statement of work, the equipment, installation, <br />and all SI services will be done at no additional cost to Cabarrus County, the City of Concord, or the City <br />of Kannapolis. This statement pertains only to the scope of the work, equipment, and SI Services stated <br />in this proposal. <br />EQUIPMENT WARRANTY & POST INSTALLATION SUPPORT <br />2.1 When formal path surveys are completed by Motorola, Motorola warrants, for a period of 12 <br />months from the date of Acceptance, that Motorola's recommended radio paths conform to <br />Cabarrus County's availability requirement for normal atmospheric multipath fading set forth in <br />the following design criteria: <br />Design Criteria <br />Value <br />Availability Objective <br />99.999% <br />1 -way or 2 -way Objective <br />2 -way <br />Bit Error Rate at Threshold <br />10` BER <br />Nokia warrants its 9500 MPR products, for a period of 12 months from Acceptance when installed <br />by or a Nokia certified installer, that radio Equipment will be free from defects in materials and <br />workmanship and perform in accordance with its specifications.
