Equipment carries a warranty for a period of 12 months from Acceptance. If Motorola does not <br />perform the installation work, the applicable warranty period commences on the date of shipment <br />from Nokia. OEM equipment and software ("OEM Product') warranties will be provided directly <br />from the manufacturer of the OEM Product. <br />2.2 During the warranty period, Nokia will repair or replace any Nokia Product that does not <br />substantially conform to Product specifications. Cabarms County is responsible for obtaining a <br />Material Return Authorization (MRA) number from Nokia and ship the unit to the Nokia repair <br />facility in Longview, Texas. Nokia will return the unit to Cabarms County at Nokia's cost as <br />promptly as practicable. Typical turnaround time is twenty-one (21) Nokia Business Days from <br />the time of receipt. Advance Replacement and Emergency Replacement Services are available <br />only for an additional charge at Nokia's then -current rates. <br />2.3 During the applicable warranty or post -warranty maintenance period, Nokia will provide CTAC <br />remote support in accordance with then current Nokia policies. <br />• Nokia will use its reasonable commercial efforts to provide effective telephone assistance <br />which results in timely answers to technical questions involving applications, operations and <br />maintenance of Nokia radio Equipment. This involves defining, isolating and reproducing <br />system problems. All calls to Nokia CTAC are logged and tracked. <br />• Access to Nokia CTAC is available by phone at 1-888-252-2832 or by email at ml- <br />tac.su000rt(allokia.com. <br />2.4 Nokia CTAC can provide on -Site assistance for operations and maintenance issues that cannot be <br />resolved effectively by telephone. This service is available only for an additional charge. <br />2.5 Nokia CTAC can provide database support by addressing additions to and maintenance of the <br />Cabamus County's database. This includes collection of any network information required to <br />allow the Product to perform its specified functions. This service is available only for an <br />additional charge. <br />2.6 Nokia provides factory repair Services for all Nokia manufactured Equipment. These Services are <br />available during the applicable warranty period (and the applicable post -warranty period if <br />Cabarrus County has purchased post -warranty services) through Nokia's Repair and Return <br />(R&R) department. Access to the R&R department is available by calling 1-888-252-2832. <br />2.7 Motorola offers Cabarms County the resources of fully staffed Technical Training Centers to <br />provide initial and ongoing Product training. Skilled, qualified instmctors offer hands-on <br />experience in the use of every Nokia Product group that goes beyond textbook learning. This <br />service is available only for an additional charge.
