Kiger, seconded by Commissioner Shue and <br />unanimously carried, the Board approved the transfer of fee for temporary use <br />permits that include assembly from the Zoning fee schedule to the Fire Marshal's <br />fee schedule. <br />Ordinance No. 2018-13 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CABARRUS COUNTY DEVELOPMENT ORDINANCE <br />TEXT20IB-00001 <br />BE IT ORDAINED that the Cabarrus Development Ordinance is hereby amended as <br />follows: <br />AMEND CHAPTER 8, CONDITIONAL USES #21, RECEPTION FACILITIES, AS FOLLOWS: <br />j. The facility must provide two parking spaces for the owner/operator, plus <br />one for every four persons in attendance at events. Service providers (staff, <br />caterers, etc.) should be included in this calculation at a rate of one for <br />each employee or contracted staff member. The parking area shall remain grassed <br />(no impervious coverage). However, handicap accessible parking is required to <br />be an improved/hard, stable surface and to meet requirements of the North <br />Carolina State Accessibility Code and Section 10-53 of this Ordinance. No on - <br />street parking is permitted. <br />AMEND CHAPTER 2, RULES OF CONSTRUCTION AND DEFINITIONS AS FOLLOWS: <br />ADD and DELETE the following language: <br />AGRICULTURE - A _ lt'___ North Carolina General Statute 4 106 581.1 defines <br />Agriculture - lef4aed as: <br />FARM, BONA FIDE - The production and activities relating to or incidental to <br />the production of crops, grains, fruits, vegetables, ornamental and flowering <br />plants, dairy, livestock, poultry, and all other forms of agriculture as defined <br />in North Carolina General Statute S 106-581.1. For purposes of determining <br />whether a property is being used for bona fide farm purposes, any of the <br />following shall constitute sufficient evidence that the property is being used <br />for bona fide farm purposes: <br />a. A farm sales tax exemption certificate issued by the Department of <br />Revenue. <br />
