It was <br />stated that Commissioner Poole expects the budget impact to be minimal. <br />Kristin Jones, Budget and Performance Manager, presented a spreadsheet <br />that contained updates and changes from the prior budget meeting on May 22, <br />2018. The proposed changes were as follows: <br />• Increase the FY19 dues for NCACC <br />• Payroll changes <br />• Add a Crisis Support Counselor for the Department of Human Services <br />(Mike Downs, County Manager, commented on the position) <br />• Increase for food contract for the Sheriff's office <br />• Decrease in travel costs for the Sheriff's Office <br />• Update tax valuation information <br />• Salary adjustments <br />The new proposed FY19 budget would be $255,617,652 <br />Ms. Jones, also reviewed the costs for Sheriff's Office School Resource <br />Officers (SRO) for the elementary, middle and high schools in the County's <br />jurisdiction.
