On June 27, 2018 the <br />county was notified by the Area Agency on Aging of additional funding for the <br />Home and Community Care Block Grant (HCCBG) program. County governments or <br />regional public transportation authorities created pursuant to Article 25 or <br />Article 26 of Chapter 160A of the General Statutes (upon written agreement with <br />municipalities or counties served) are the only eligible applicants for ROAP <br />funds. ROAP includes the following funding project categories: Elderly and <br />Handicapped, Employment and Rural General Public. There is no public hearing <br />required for the ROAP Grant. <br />Elderly and Disabled (EDTAP) - $98,650 <br />Employment (EMPL) - $41,683 <br />Rural General Public (RGP) - $67,982 <br />
