Planning and Zoning Commission <br />Minutes <br />October 11, 2022 <br />Mr. Collins said either that or a modularhome. <br />The Chair asked if there were any more questions. He reminded the Board that the Public <br />Hearing is still open,and a motion would need to be made to close the Public Hearingif we are <br />done. <br />Mr. Charles PaxtonMOTIONED,to close the Public Hearing. <br />Mr. Barnhill (was in audible) he said the only place that he could put a house is there because <br />that is the only place he could get to perc. The top, he cannot put a house, it is 75 feet,how is <br />that possible. He does not see how you are sayingthis can be done. <br />The Chair said he has to meet the setbacks. So, whatever he can squeeze in therehe can. <br />Ms. Barnhill said right here is where we park our cars. There is a well here, an abandoned well. <br />She is not sure what he is going to do with that.Is he going to put septicand a houseright here? <br />She does not know how that is going to work, she isnotin construction.She does not know if he <br />is aware that there is a very large well right here and there is one right here too, (showed on <br />diagram). They are both abandoned and inoperable. She does not know if that matters. <br />Mr. Corley said itmay be true that there a lot of challenges left for him,but we are addressing <br />one of the pieces. When he comes in for building permittingand other things,if those hurdles <br />come up,that is going to be up to him,as it is for every property owner to figure out how he can <br />comply with those standards. <br />The Chair said if this is approved,this would be just one ofmanysteps he still has togo through <br />tobe able to applyandmeet therequirementsto build a house. <br />Mr. Goldberg reminded the Chair there was a motion made to close the public hearing, no action <br />was taken on it. <br />Mr.Brett Rockett,SECONDED,the motionto close the Public Hearing. The vote was <br />unanimous. <br />The Chair asked if there were any further discussion? <br />Mr. Hudspeth said there are two zonings on this property, correct? <br />The Chair said right. <br />Mr. Hudspeth asked ifwhere he is wanting to build thehousealready CR? <br />15 <br /> <br />
