Staff Use Only: <br />PLANNING STAFF REPORT Approved: ____ <br />CABARRUS COUNTY PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION Denied: ____ <br /> Tabled ____ <br /> Assure the adequacy of: <br />p Wastewater disposal <br />p Solid waste management <br />p On site drinking water and wastewater disposal <br />p Governmental water and sewer (if applicable) <br />p Police, Fire and Emergency Medical Services protection <br />p School adequacy (if applicable) <br />p Transportation systems (in and around the site) and <br />p Other public facilities <br /> Comply with the general plans for the physical development of the County as embodied in these <br />regulations <br />Section 8-4. 13 Sanitary Landfill <br />Agricultural/Open, Limited Industrial and General Industrial districts <br />The following additional items shall be included on the site plan: <br />a. Extent of area to be filled. <br />b.Location, width and elevation of all easements and rights-of-way within or adjacent to <br />extraction site. <br />c. Location of all existing or proposed structures on site. <br />d. Location of all areas on the site subject to flood hazard or inundation. <br />e. Location of all water courses on the site, including direction of flow and normal fluctuation <br />of flow. <br />f. Existing topography at a contour interval of two feet, based on mean sea level datum. <br />g. Typical cross sections showing extent of overburden, extent of fill and water table <br />elevation, based on mean sea level datum. <br />h. Proposed handling and storage areas for overburden, by-products and fill materials. <br />i. Proposed fencing, screening and gates, parking, service and other areas. <br />j. Any areas proposed for ponding. <br />k. Access roads to the site, as well as on-site roads, with indication of surface treatment to <br />limit dust. Site distances on all roads used for access to the site. <br /> <br />An Operations Plan shall be submitted including: <br />p The date of commencement of operations and their expected duration <br />p Proposed hours and days of operation <br />p Complete description of operation, including source of materials, method of <br />compaction, type of sealing proposed, types and number of equipment to be used <br />p Any phasing of operations and relationship among phases <br /> <br />A Rehabilitation Plan shall be submitted which shall include: <br />p A statement of planned future use of the site, including detailed methods of <br />accomplishment <br /> <br />
