Demographics <br />Essential to a master planning process is <br />understanding the community. BerryDunn analyzed <br />census data and visitor activity that gave the team <br />insight into the make-up of Cabarrus County and <br />visitors to ALP parks and facilities. Cabarrus County <br />has experienced steady growth since 2000 and the <br />trend is expected to continue through 2028. Youth <br />through the young adult populations are experiencing <br />a slight decline, while the population of seniors is rising <br />slightly. The County's has become more racially diverse <br />since 2010, with those that identify as white decreasing <br />from 75% in 2010 to 60% in 2023.
